For XC Events – Directions to Pleasant Valley Park

From 287 South
Take Exit 26 (Mt. Airy Road/Liberty Corner). Turn left onto Mt. Airy Road. Stay on Mt. Airy Road and go to the second traffic light. (1st light, Lyons Road, 2nd light, Valley Road). Make a left onto Valley Road. Park will come up on your left past Lurline Drive. If you pass the VA golf course, you’ve gone too far!

From 287 North
Take Exit 26A (Mt. Airy Road). Ramp will take you directly onto Mt. Airy Road. Stay on Mt. Airy Road and go to the second traffic light. (1st light, Lyons Road, 2nd light, Valley Road). Make a left onto Valley Road. Park will come up on your left past Lurline Drive. If you pass the VA golf course, you’ve gone too far!

From 78
Take 78 to exit 33 (Martinsville Road/VA Hospital). If coming from 78 Eastbound, at end of ramp make a left at light onto Martinsville Road. If coming from 78 Westbound, make a right hand turn. Continue on Martinsville Road, passing the Somerset Hills Hotel on your right. After the hotel, make a right at the second traffic light onto Valley Road. Park will come up on your left past Lurline Drive. If you pass the VA golf course, you’ve gone too far!

From Route 287 North – Mt. Airy Road – Liberty Corner Exit 26
At the bottom of the ramp, bear right onto Mt. Airy Road.
Travel .2 miles and turn left onto Lake Road (first left).
Follow Lake Road to the end
At traffic light, school will be straight ahead.

From Route 287 South – North Maple Avenue – Basking Ridge – Exit 30A
Turn right onto North Maple Avenue.
Pass Verizon on your left.
Continue through the traffic light and at the ‘Y’ in the road bear right.
At stop sign, turn left into the town.
Travel straight and the road will bear around to the right. (A stone wall is on the left.)
At end of the stone wall, the school will be on the left

From Route 78 West – Exit 36 – Basking Ridge/Warrenville
At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto King George Road.
Travel 1 mile to Valley Road (Millington Baptist Church is on the right.)
Bear left at the traffic light.
Continue straight (road becomes Stonehouse Road) until intersection (Stop & Shop/Lyons Mall will be straight ahead); bear right at light
Travel under train trestle, and the road makes a sweeping curve to the left and becomes South Finley Avenue.
Ridge High School is approximately .5miles on the right.

From Route 78 East – Exit 36 – Basking Ridge/Warrenville

For XC Away Meets

Phillipsburg PAC
Take 78 West and get off at Exit 3, Alpha/Phillipsburg, the last exit in New Jersey. Just before the 7th traffic light bear right onto Roseberry Street. Follow Roseberry Street to a T in the Road (Belvidere Road). The field complex is straight ahead. (approximately 45 minutes from Basking Ridge)

Deer Path Park

Take 78 West to Exit 24. Turn left onto County Road 523. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Route 22 East and then make a quick right onto County Road 523. After about 5.7 miles turn right onto Woodschurch Road. Go 1.4 miles and the park will be on the left. (approximately 30 minutes from Basking Ridge)

Take the New Jersey Turnpike North, following signs to the George Washington Bridge. As you near the bridge (after passing the Meadowlands), follow yellow signs that say “express” to Bridge. Take the upper level of the Bridge. Once at the bridge and past the $4.00 toll, get to the right lane and exit at 178th Street. Go through one light and make a right at the next light onto Broadway. Go 10 blocks south and make a right onto 168th Street. Go one block west to Fort Washington Avenue. The Armory entrance is at 168th and Fort Washington.

Take I-287 North. Proceed to exit 35 – South Street/ Route 124. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. Proceed 100 yards and take the first right, following signs to Route 124. At the stop sign, turn right (Route 124 East). Proceed three miles to Madison. Drew is located on Route 124 (Madison Avenue) on your right. Enter campus at the traffic light on Lancaster Road. Simon Forum and Athletic Center is straight ahead through the gate.

From the Garden State Parkway (North) Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 161 (Route 4 East). Travel on Route 4 until reaching Hackensack Avenue. Exit at Hackensack Avenue, (immediately following the Main Street Exit), heading south. Proceed to traffic light at Temple Avenue, turning left. FDU’s Rothman’s Center is located at the end of Temple Avenue.
